"A really great place for a walk on a nice day."
"Nice park with trails"
"After a wonderful meal at The Rivers & Rails Tavern, we stumbled upon a park sign on the way back to our hotel in Bryson City. We were pleased to spend time at this park located on the river bend. It was tranquil just watching and listening to the river flow. My husband and son ventured down the hiking trails while I kept my mom company on the fishing dock. We fell in love with Dillsboro and will probably spend more time there on our next visit to the area."
"This is a nice wayside park that has much to offer. First if you have a handicapped โฟ parking permit, getting to huge fishing pier is super easy with concrete all the way from vehicle to the dock. There is a 1 or 11/2" inch board height at the deck that could cause issues.Other than that you good to go. Two benches and lowered railing for fishing. The dock is not low to the water, you are about 7 feet above water. Make sure your fish are hooked good. Oh the water is stocked. Side trails make fishing easier at river level. Marked trailer with self guided tour signs. Across the rail road tracks is another section of the park with covered pavilion and a flag pole. The road was closed [at time of this posting May 22, 2022] near the Women's museum. I saw two other cars parked but the people must have been walking the trails since I never saw any one in the park. Very peaceful. If you like my review please select the "LIKE" button. God bless you."
"Our family stumbled upon this beautiful park while vacationing last summer. Gorgeous views from atop the hill, we treated ourselves to luscious blackberries on the way up. Wonderful!"
