"What a gorgeous, spacious lake! I loved walking the entire perimeter. Thankful they had public bathrooms on site and a clean trail the entire way. Very well maintained. Stunning view of the mountains."
"We enjoyed a wonderful picnic at this area. It is clean and really relaxing."
"This place really impressed me with the great lake/ mountain view and the giant cross reminded me of Rio DiJanero even though I've never been. I met some friendly folks, enjoyed nice conversation, and we took some photos... nice place."
"The Junaluska dam park is Very Beautiful place Lake Junaluska offers a wonderful and serene 3.8-mile walking trail that circles the lake. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful mountainous landscape that surrounds the lake as they take a leisurely stroll. Visitors can shorten the loop to 2.3 miles by crossing the Turbeville Footbridge and the bridge above the dam. The 3.8-mile walking trail loops along the highway and allows visitors to walk past the Foundation for Evangelism and many other sites that cannot be directly seen from the 2.3-mile walking trail."
"Great place to fish and float. Lovely picnic spot. We even took tubes and let the kids float a short distance. Good swimmers could have a blast. The kids found lots of fishing lures and river glass; shoes are a good idea"
