Reviews
"Met with a friend to talk over some business ideas, decided to check out this new spot that didn’t have to many reviews then. Fast forward some time now and I realized I didn’t leave that review, that they earned and deserved. Great food and very clean restaurant. New to the area and I see it staying around for a long time. I’m a chicken lover and this place is tasteful."
"Not bad. The Korean Fried Chicken strips were tasty and filling. The Bowls are full and visually stunning as well - I'd recommend. Slightly distracting when dining in... music is loud and the TV's were playing fearmongering ads (which isn't their fault)."
"Ambiance and Setting here is quite nice. Different from your everyday restaurant with the little notes of old wood and rustic design. The staff here is also very accommodating and super friendly. But the food is where this place really stood out for me. The soy garlic wings were almost out of this world with flavor combinations of both sweet and salty flavors and aren’t overpowering as well. Also their avocado Salad is delicious combined along with their grilled chicken. If you are around the area I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a shot"
"Mad For Chicken exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambiance was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The menu offered a diverse range of Korean dishes, and each dish was a masterpiece.. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and super tender on the inside, bursting with unique flavors that set it apart. The knowledgeable staff enhanced the overall dining experience. Mad For Chicken is a gem, delivering an authentic taste of Korea with a modern twist. I wholeheartedly give it a well-deserved 5-star rating and look forward to indulging in their culinary delights again soon!"
"Was so happy to see a MFC open up on Long Island instead of going to Queens but sad to say, I’m going to have to keep going back west. Everything was over cooked and/or over flavored. I ordered the soy garlic wings and the scallion chicken and both had too much breading on it and was over fried. The scallion chicken inside was tough and chewy as a result. Also, I don’t know if this chain store owner is Korean or not but if they are, the should be ashamed of themselves for trying to pass off what I got for japchae and Teobboki. Both were over cooked, soggy messes. The japchae had too much sauce and the Teobboki was too soupy and the rice cakes fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I don’t know how you mess up Mac n cheese but it was flavorless and even my not-that-picky daughter wouldn’t finish it. Overall, I spent a lot of money for several dishes only to throw away half of it and eat the rest with rice to make it somewhat edible. What a huge disappointment. I hope this location’s owners go back to MFC school and get their cooking technique straight because this food is really not befitting a good brand."
