"The best place I've stayed in a long time. Parking = 5 Stars Service = 5 Stars Room = 5 Stars Cleanliness = 5 Stars We stayed in the Blue Ridge Suite. It was nice since we had our dogs with us. We could go outside from our room. There's a hiking trail on the property for a good workout and let the dogs roam. I would really like to come back, just to relax and enjoy the sunset and sunrise. The Blue Ridge Suite is the original master bedroom from the 1940's. Very unique bathroom. * There needs to be quiet hours set. I heard vacuuming at about 9 pm and loud talking."
"Beware of the 5 star reviews this is a 3.5 star lodge that unfortunately for us turned into a 1 star stay due to the group of individuals that rented out the upstairs. Our room was nice had the classic view. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, we couldn’t change the HVAC to our comfort as there was one thermostat in the hallway and that was it. I found the building itself to be nice but the grounds to be quite frumpy, especially on the far side of the building. The lady bug infestation in the bathroom around the vent wasn’t the end of the world but when they started jumping on me in the shower that was less than ideal. The “coffee bar” wasn’t open when we got up to leave at 7:30am. As for the group of individuals above us that were screaming, hollering, jumping and running around at 3:30 to roughly 5am, two thumbs down for the level of disrespect you showed for the other guests. I’m not going to hold that against the owners of the lodge though obviously because unless someone contacted them about it then they would have never known. I would love to get my money refunded due to my experience here but that probably won’t happen. Although my 2 year old and wife and I were up all night I still don’t think we would come back even if the rude individuals upstairs were not there. Very unfortunate because this could be a really cool place to stay."
"Totally secluded with stunning views of the mountains! If you want to feel like you're staying in a fancy national park lodge, this place is it! Comfy beds and all of the amenities you could need are provided."
"If you plan to get married at The Parker Mill, book the entire lodge out immediately! It absolutely made my entire wedding easier, more comfortable, and more of a weekend experience. The lodge itself is beautiful and well kept. The gardens outside and the view speaks for itself. All of my guest adored their stay and couldn't stop talking about how wonderful it was. We can't wait to return for anniversaries in the coming years!"
"I came here for a visit with family, but the lodge is so well-maintained that it felt like we'd been allowed to stay in a nice museum or a movie set. It's a beautiful building with beautiful grounds, the kind of place that could easily be a museum or movie set. Lisa and Mary, the ladies running the lodge, were very welcoming and friendly. I only gave the lodge four stars for location, but that's because I'm the only member of my family who isn't thrilled about driving in the mountains. If you like being halfway up the side of the mountain, you'll love the very things I didn't appreciate. Even though the driveway is over a mile long and felt really steep and narrow, I was able to make it all the way up in my little car without any problems. It wasn't as bad going back down, probably because I knew there wouldn't be any surprises."
