"I hadn’t been to the Five Towns in 30+ years, and some of the reviews made me hesitant to go to Woodro. Luckily I went with gut instinct. Ordered the twin sandwiches of brisket and pastrami, both moist and delicious. Had a bowl of chicken noodle which had plenty of chicken and fresh vegetables-needed a little salt, but that was all. And how can you go wrong with a Gabila’s square knish and a Dr. Browns? Service was on point, as the very pleasant young man waited until I finished the soup before bringing the sandwiches. I don’t know the next time I’ll be out that way, but I hope the Woodro is still there. And for what it’s worth, the next day I went to Lido in Long Beach, which I found to be no better or worse."
