"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glen Choga. The host Tim had a deep knowledge of the area and the history of the lodge, and was incredibly accommodating to our every need. He recommended a local hike for us and even packed us a pack complete with first aid kit and wine and cheese. Every detail was properly managed. The room was great. It had a historic charm but the amenities were updated and modern (bathrooms were up to date, high speed wifi, modern AC/heat unit). The lodge has a rich history and is off the beaten path. The first time up, it seems like a long way off the highway, but in reality it's only 20 minutes to several nearby towns and activities. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay and expect to be back soon."

"We spent the weekend there for a getaway and some white water rafting. We travel a lot for work and pleasure, but this was the most memorable stay we can remember. The lodge is fantastic! The care they have taken to preserve the history of this property is indescribable. Tim and his family keep this place spotless. We felt like guests in someone's home rather than a tenant in a lodge. When we get a chance to return to this area for pleasure or business, we won't even look at another property. "The location is spectacular, just a short walk to Lake Nantahala. The historic lodge has been carefully, thoughtfully, and lovingly restored with great attention to the comfort of guests."

"The lodge suites are very spacious with unique furnishings. If you want relaxation, woods and streams, this is the location. There is a short trail on the property, a half mile I think. We took our granddaughters and they really enjoyed the walk. The girls' favorite was the fairy tree along the trail. The lodge is a special place to unwind."
