"I always enjoy the hospitality when going to the golden eagle Motel. The owners are super nice. I gave it a four star on the rooms because they really need a little bit of update. A Little Bit Stronger AC units and the carpet really needs to be replaced. But all in all, they're very comfortable beds and they always have a room for me when I am going to Cherokee. "Got in late, so they were accommodating to us. While there, had laid a book on top of dresser, got back to the room. Found a live adult roach. Then several dead."

"The rooms smelt of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. And it wasn't a tad bit of smell. It was bad. I had to flip the switch on the plug to make my a/c work. It was broken. The beds had stains. Very outdated hotel."

"Love this place! The rooms are small but good and clean, and not expensive! There are two rocking chairs outside each door with little figurines on the windowsill! Such a charming place! We only stayed one night but I'd love to go back (and probably will) and stay a couple days! The owner was very friendly as well as Tootie the cleaning lady! It's right around the corner from Harrah's casino but there is a lot to do in the area! Thank you Golden Eagle for a great stay!"
