"Nice trail to walk with your dog..went to the overlook then down the gravel utility road on the way back then back on the trail to the parking area..nice but no water source for dogs on this trail..easy and I was the only one on the trail..I'm sure this connects to other east lakeshore trails..coyote trail is good for dogs there is lake access on that one. Parking area is nice and has restrooms"

"Watched the 2017 total solar eclipse here. Bathrooms here are great! Also, there is a trail we walked and enjoyed while we waited for the event. 5 stars if they clear the trail head overlook for a better lake view. Cool place and will probably visit I'm sentimental) when my travels take me through that part of i75 again"
