"While the bagels and salads and smoked fish were excellent, the service was deplorable. Our brunch was scheduled for 10 AM and the food arrived late. It was supposed to arrive at 9 AM and they told us a few minutes and they told us 9:00, then 9:30, then 9:45 and it arrived after 10. And they seemed to have a very laissez-faire attitude about it. DEFINITELY NOT recommended if you have a brunch scheduled at a venue as they have no concept of time. Otherwise, if you’re picking up-very good."

"I just had a very rude racist experience at bagel Mentch. I was on the phone speaking to my business partner when I decided to run in and grab a couple of bagels and be on my way. I was ignored and then told we don’t serve people that’s on the phone. I thought about it for a moment, and then said, if I was a White man, doing my business on the phone, you would have been glad to serve me. He started arguing with me, about me playing the race card.. I told him I didn’t believe that. How about me playing the factual card? I said have a nice day to take my business elsewhere. He still arguing with me walking out the door. Then he yelled that I was ignorant.So I turn back into the store, and address this Karen. Then he said he would call the police. Really Karen!!!!"

"Most delicious bagel spot in Great Neck. Bagels are always fresh, as is their appetizing. Great service as well. Look forward to continue supporting this business."

"I had a toasted bagel with jelly and a Chocolate Milk. The bill was $6 and chamge. Bagel was good, Chocolate Milk was a little warm but good. I would definitely eat here again. A little expensive I thought but overall very good, clean and help was friendly and courteous."
