"First time trying a Greek restaurant. Our waiter made our experience super memorable; delicious food, great atmosphere, and live music. Our waiter made us feel so welcome and even gave us on the house mojitos We got the Pastichio and Spinach Pie and they definitely did not disappoint, can’t forget about the lemon potatoes. They also gave us complementary pita bread and tzatziki which were both super yummy! It was our first time eating Greek food and Laterna made us want to try more. Definitely a great find in Bayside."

"The owners and management of this establishment know how to run a restaurant that not only has great customer service, but give you an entire experience. Food is amazing and they really know how to make great cocktails. Whether its a dinner night out with live Greek music, a christening, a wedding or any other event, they always handle it with a smile. The hospitality is unmatched in the area, and it's something I really appreciated. Libby and her two sons Dennis and Nick run this place beautifully and Andreas would be proud of how his family has continued his legacy. All the best and continued success to the Laterna family. "Food very good , service excellent. Live music late at night. We went there on a Saturday night at 6pm and we were the only table, in which for me is weird. Then we asked and they told me most people start to arrive after 9 pm"

"Went for a friend's Mehndi (South eastern wedding event). We used the backyard space which she hired a designer to decorate and it came out beautifully! It was a great space with a lot of light. A great little outdoor event space. The decorators also brought Indian appetizer type foods while the main meal was provided by the restaurant and the lunch food was excellent. Really good salmon and chicken (both cooked very nicely, not dried out) and Greek salad just the way my Greek boyfriend likes it! Also super friendly staff. The ladies there were lovely (they're in one of my photos). Thank you!"

"I cannot thank Dennis enough for this weekend. I have been planning our daughter's first birthday party for months as it was a very special day for us. Had to make a last minute switch of venue due to a bad experience elsewhere and I was thrilled and relieved to know the party room I wanted was available. Dennis is absolutely amazing. So nice, accommodating and really made what would have been stressful as easy as possible. I had an exact vision of how I wanted the party and Dennis helped bring that to life. The pictures speak for themselves. The restaurant is absolutely stunning, the bright natural light made the decor pop even more. Dennis and the staff were constantly attentive and the vibe of the restaurant truly makes the experience worthwhile. Family and friends raved about the service, the food and just the entire ambiance of the venue. Thank you again! Would recommend all future parties (big or small) here. Dennis is the man!"
