"Tigin at JFK is not a bad choice if you are looking for a quick beer while waiting for a flight. The food was very limited the night we were here…. Only fish and chips or chicken and chips. That said, the fish and chips were not terrible, and they were reasonably priced for an airport restaurant. Service was pretty good. However, with the upcoming renovations to JFK, Tigin’s had better up its game soon. This is no Bobby Van’s in Terminal 1. It’s decidedly average."
"Spent some time getting a drink and food at Tigin, enjoyed the drink prepared By Rodney, who was a jolly and good person, keeping things light and fun before one boards their flight! Also met with an ex crew member from Etihad, whom I will be sharing the rest of my journey with. Fun time and a drink that Rodney says, the effect should last till your destination ! Bloody Mary’s all the way!! Heard that Tigin is going to be demolished and a new restaurant is coming up here on terminal 4 at JFK."
"At an airport like JFK, one might hope for better-than-average dining experience, but sadly that’s not the case. There are a lot of restaurants, but it seems like they’re perpetually engaged in a competition to become the worse restaurant at the JFK. Tigin Irish Pub at Terminal 4 of JFK is an average place to dine. We got the grilled chicken sandwich and Tigin Chicken and chips. The Tigin Chicken is just your mass-produced chicken strips devoid of much flavour, and the grilled chicken sandwich is an average sandwich. The server who served us was quite polite and attended to us with a constant smile. Clearly, Tigin is not the best restaurant at the JFK, but it’s still better than many other restaurants. Seating is available both at the bar as well as the tables."
"To be fair I came in here with low expectations. It’s an airport pub, plus you’re surrounded by all these petulant main characters that leave 1 star reviews. My experience at this place was actually nice. They’ve a decent beer selection, both tap and canned. I appreciated the fries and that they gave out mayonnaise with it. The cheeseburger was alright. I’ve paid more money for worse burgers in the past (looking at you, fancy vegan burger place!). The waiter to ratio was not in favor of the poor girl working our shift, but was friendly and helpful as all times."
