"What a wonderful experience! I came here yesterday with my colleagues. We had the tasting menu along with two items from the breakfast menu that we enjoyed as an appetizer for the group (seven people). We also had some nice cocktails. The staff were really friendly, proud of their cuisine, and explained everything for us as most of us are not familiar with the food. They truly made us feel welcome. Every course was prepared fresh and brought out at the same time for the table. Everything was delicious. What I appreciated the most was the effort they put to plate and present the food. When each course was brought out they explained everything even if people had different food, and some historical or geographical context. It was a better experience compared to some higher end restaurants I have been to in Manhattan."

"Amazing food, smoothies, and cocktails. Saw on restaurant week and had to try it. Leticias was as good as mentioned there. The chicharrón was fried perfectly, the shrimp ceviche was perfectly balanced and had green chili and lime you can add to it which I definitely did, la bandera let you try the different stews which variation made exciting, the pisco and muerte drink were among the best cocktails I’ve had in nyc and the batidos de guanábana and tomate de árbol were excellent. Service was quick and they checked up on us regularly, music was listening volume and pleasant and the ambiance as a whole felt modern, posh, with some Ecuadorian traditional elements scattered. I went on a date with my wife but I would definitely come back with a group or get catering from them in the future."

"Saw this restaurant had a good review in NY Times and we decided to stop by. I’m giving 4 stars for the food, which, other than taking a pretty long time to be prepared, was amazing. They also have great sangria! The service, however, leaves much to be desired. They were nice enough but didn’t check on the table at all except to take our order and pick up the check at the end."
