"Delicious/super flavorful soups and braised lamb which was SO tender! Do wish the oxtail soup came with a bit more oxtail but other than that, lunch is such a great deal. The specials also come with an assortment of little apps which was a nice way to sample a bunch of dishes the restaurant offers. Would personally skip the sushi next time and stick with the other stuff on the menu. Service was very fast!"
"Love this place for my lunch. Very good deal with great food - high quality side and full portions of meal.. Lamp soap is my favorite with just enough spice. My second favorite is oxtail soap - clear good plain original soap."
"Decided to try this place because we kept on walking by and it had very interesting pictures of abalone and bird saliva. Both considered high end Asian cuisine. We ordered the lunch special which comes with various sides. Decided to order for four people when it was just the two of us. The decor is interesting. We were served hot tea to start. The side dishes came first. There were two servings of silken eggs with dried scallop on the bottom of a shot tin shot glass. Very good. There were dried fish very interesting flavor and good. Sesame flavored vegetables. Pickled vegetables. Some beef tripe I think. And then the mash potatoes that almost taste like ice cream. All were very good. We ordered the king crab salad. It was mixed with mayonnaise. I don’t typically like mayo, but this was good also. The first soup we had was a chicken ginseng soup. The ginseng wasn’t strong, well integrated into the soup. Just a little bland. Good thing they gave us some corse salt. After adding some it was excellent. The second soup was an oxtail daikon soup. You can taste the protein that is boiled into the soup. Very rich. So good. The last dish we had was the braised lamb ribs. That was very flavorful and falling off the bone. They gave us two bowls of rice to have with the dishes. All in all a very good experience. Would go back and try some of the other stuff. Highly recommended."
"The atmosphere here is amazing, it feels like we're in another country. The music they played was nice and calming. I got the abalone porridge, the abalones were flavorful and moist, there are small shrimps in the porridge as well. The mushroom they used definitely is a good flavor booster. The ginsing chicken broth is amazing, it goes really well with rice. Overall, it is a great place to eat on a cold windy and Wintery night. Also, the flavors aren't over powering, it's very soothing."
"Ordered the oxtail soup and braised lamb from the lunch menu. The price seems expensive but the portions are pretty generous. The flavors are pretty good and clean. The small dishes are also a nice complement."
