Great River Restaurant 8202 45th Avenue, Queens, NY 11373

"Really delicious and reasonably-priced chinese food / seafood. The crabs here are huge, cooked just right, and have a lot of meat. The only downside is for the sticky rice in the bottom, you can find tiny debris (prob from the crab) when eating, which kinda annoys me. The fish is really delicious as well! I really like the 2 intestine dishes; both are slightly sour and well-seasoned. Decent size restaurant, good for family-style meal."

"Food was very tasty, almost too heavy on flavor but very well priced (specials are only $9.99 each, rice is extra). Service is terrible though - there was only one waitress and she was very inattentive despite it not being very busy at all; we had a very hard time getting her attention to initially get the menu, or ask for more tea, or get the check. Also, just a quick note - the entrance to this place is further into the block on the other side of the food court (not on the corner where Google Maps has placed it)."

"I came here for Chinese New Year. The food was good but it seemed like the restaurant is still new and there are some that needs to be sorted out. Food was good but it is hard to go wrong with a king crab served three ways as the main meal item. I'll have to come back on a regular day for a better assessment."
