"Decent food and vibe, better than expected. Had an unplanned visit in Brooklyn close to dinner time so my sister and her husband recommended that we have dinner here as they always wanted to try it. I quickly googled it and found mixed reviews but the plan was already made. I had no idea it was a Trini restaurant with a Caribbean menu, with a live DJ spinning Soca. Food was not disappointing and the music transported you to Trinidad. The plastic grass along the walls was reminiscent of a Savanna and it was easy to move with the rhythms. I probably wouldn’t be back, but only due to the location as it’s far from home. But it was a fun time with good food, albeit a little overpriced. Worth the trip."

This was for my moms 60th birthday and the staff a special thank you to (Glen) they were kind, professional and attentive .. they treated my mom like she was family from the minute we walked in . The food was next level amazing (she can’t stop talking about it ) 10/10 the services (10/10) the drinks (10/10). Anyone looking for a great date night a great place to chill with family and friends I would start at savannah spiced ! The music the ambiance the atmosphere felt rich with hints of the Caribbean hidden in this concrete jungle…. I truly felt at home! "Ok I will give my wife credit for choosing this restaurant. She saw Savannah Spiced advertised in a local tv station's commercial. We HAD to try this place. We got there on a Friday night and the size of the place...I would call it "cozy". The whole ambiance had a romantic & island feel to it. We thought we were going to order a few items. NOPE...this is what we got: Food: Savannah corn soup (Man oh man it was like my late mom's soup...not watery...it was thick and creamy and made out of love), passion fruit spice wings (got a nice peppery kick to it!), curried coconut shrimp (it was tasty, but we were trying not to get curry on our clothes), Salmon TRINI Delight (Guava infused salmon with garlic potatoes) and THE BEST Oxtail spiced tacos we have ever tasted..it came with caribbean salsa, mango slaw with a calypso drizzle. Drinks: We had knocked off two flavorful Sorrel Mojitos, a strong and memorable Play a Jab (with Grenadian rum and a splash of ginger) and my wife's favorite: Muddy Waters (blend of coconut rum, Irish Baileys & Kahlua). We can't wait to go back to this restaurant! When we go back..we have to try the other appetizers and drinks!!"

"I came across this hidden gem this past Tuesday. The place was extremely warm & cozy. The staff was extremely engaging and knowledgeable of all phases of the menu. My server made some really solid suggestions but I’m sure whatever he suggested would have been exceptional options. Everything we ordered was better then the last. I HIGHLY suggest this restaurant if enjoy a great dining experience."
