"Q broke down so I took the bus, my transfer was around the area and I was starving! Was greeted nicely and was offered oxtail gravy over my jerk chicken order. Serving is more than generous for the price, and the taste was off the roof. I’m already googling how to get back there from work!! Saving this restaurant for future visits!"

"Update to my review: this place starting to drop off! Come like the food only good on certain days, mainly the weekends. Last 2 times I order curry, it taste burnt, like bottom of di pot. Then the jerk not even crispy, skin flappy and yellow(look at the pic). Order oxtail for mi pickney and di meat tough, kiss teeth. Week day chef weak. Food used to be good ALL THE TIME. Now, some days good most days bad. Food drop off! Please go back to how the food was when I first found this place. To busy at work to cook and this place used to remind me of home. As a Jamaican, I approve this restaurant. This is the first Jamaican restaurant in a VERY long time that can actually cook. For the most part, the food is consistent. There was one time the oxtail had a burnt taste, but when I told them, they gave me a free oxtail dinner with no problem at all. Good people, great authentic food that remind of back home cooking. The is a rare find, the stew chicken alone!!!!! Everything here is amazing. Won’t be disappointed."

"I ordered some lunch from CCs off Doordash the other day. I got the Medium Jerk Chicken, rice, and peas and for the veggie I picked cucumbers. On DoorDash, I felt the vegetable selection was quite odd. There was a selection of either, lettuce, tomato, or cucumber. I would think they would come together as a salad. I went and chose cucumber. When my food arrived it was sealed fine and had no spillage. There was a fork and knife with my jerk sauce & bbq sauce on the side. There was something wrapped in foil and upon opening it, it was my side of cucumber. There were only two pieces. On to the food. The peas and rice were really good and flavorful. The rice wasn’t soggy as well. The chicken was good despite not having sauce but the jerk sauce did give it that added spunk that was needed. The portion size was perfect for a medium and it was a good meal despite the two cucumbers. I would suggest updating the vegetable options to balance out the meal. In all, I would see myself ordering from here again!"

"Wow, where do I start? Walked in, and was greeted by a lovely lady. The environment, and cleanliness was superb. She took her time, and made some recommendations. I purchased oxtail, and jerk chicken. The food was amazing, texture of the meat, fall of the bone, season to perfection. 10 out 10 must try again"

"This was my first time purchasing takeout today! I got a beef pattie. This was very nice - the filling wasnt dry My order of pepper shrimp didn't work for me because I didn't realize that vein isn't removed- so It was a bit too much for me. Trying to clean that out before eating just put me off, unfortunately this should be deveined for customers."
