"A lovely dining experience. Trastevere never fails to please. A restaurant with old world charm and a delicious menu. You can't go wrong everything is great!"
"This place absolutely sucks we were not informed that they only accept American Express as far as credit card payments their specific words were where very loyal to American Express only. I found hair my food and even though I informed them about it they didn't do anything at all. They insisted that it was my hair on my wife's hair. The waiters were acting very snobby acting like they were doing us a favor by eating at the restaurant. The food was not that Good. And I had to go all the way to an ATM which was 3 blocks from us not to get enough money to pay for the very expensive meal. I'm never gonna go there again I really hope they get their act together. Future customers be warned ."
"I have so much love for Tevere, I can't express it enough. The owner & staff are excellent people who really ensure you have a very nice time and excellent food. This is certainly kosher Italian meat done properly. This is a pricier place, but will impress a business group or date. I have brought larger groups here and they were very accommodating. My favorite dish is the veal scallopini, which is absolutely delicious - haven't had it as good anywhere else."
"I had a delicious meal at Tevere. The atmosphere was very nice but the wait-staff wasn't on their game. I waited close to 35-45 min to place my order. However, they were all really friendly and accommodating."
"The best I can describe this was good but not great. The service was just ok - fairly prompt but our server didn't bother telling us about the specials and wasn't so attentive. The food was good as well, but far overpriced. We got a plate of 3 roasted artichokes for $18, but the presentation horrible (a far too large plate that was otherwise empty, no visual appeal). Their gnocchi in meat sauce and veal marsala were both fairly tasty with a nice home cooked feel, but again the presentation was lacking (again, did not look appealing to eat). House wine was pretty good and reasonably priced. Overall I'd say unless you love kosher veal or real Jewish Italian food, probably more worth it to find another option."
