Suede

"OVERDUE MENTION: When it comes to atmosphere and deco at this particular neighborhood nook Suede is top shelf. From the high ceilings to accent mood lighting and listening pleasure tunes are leveled just right. After that, things go left. The food menu options is less than desirable as are their exaggerated prices. The appetizers are even more lacking, causing confusion in their menu fusion, is it Mexican, Caribbean, Asian… ?? My go to is usually wings and I don’t order it from here because it’s always too crispy, probably recooked. Suede’s saving grace is their happy hour specials and drinks, as well as their birthday/group specials which started to dwindle post Rona. I hope they get it together, such potential and cute indoor/outdoor space which is rare, in cramp Brooklyn spots. At Suede you not on top of each other and servers were on point for the most part."

"Came in in a Friday night. It was not busy atmosphere music was great. We ordered wings. The wings were reheated, tasted old and dry. I’ve never had hard wings before - these were HARD. The main course took 47 minutes to arrive. We ordered salmon and pasta and oxtail pasta. Neither of which takes long to cook. The food finally arrive after we threatened to leave and there was 5 pieces of oxtail on the plate. I will not be back until they improve their service"

"Came during brunch hours. The aesthetics of this place is great. The workers were well mannered but there are a lot of things that need work. Oxtail was a little tough but the flavor was there. The wings were also okay. Wouldn’t order it again. There was a large group of us and the food took a really long time to come out, About 40 minutes. Food came out at all different times. Some of us finished our food before others could eat. I would revisit for drinks at the bar. Not to eat."

"Good food & music. The portion for Mussels needs improvement but they were tasty. Mashed yams & oxtails were delicious! Would return if in neighborhood again"

"Not impressed at all . We went for Sunday Brunch and my cousin’s Birthday. The place was not crowded and the food took over an hour to come out , the drinks took over an 1/2 or more to come out also . I ordered Brown stew snapper that was the smallest snapper I have ever seen it look more like a porgy fish and the food was Luke warn . My cousin’s ordered the oxtail which needed to be cook longer they could not finish their meal meat was to tough . The outside decor is beautiful they need to work more on the food and service ."
