"I love coming here. It’s a really small restaurant with only two tables. The service is really quick and the food is delicious. I’ve been here several times and we always get the scallion pancakes, beef and duck baos and the chicken, shrimp and cilantro dumplings. We get lucky and manage to find a seat every time."
"Thought these were going to be good, not good dumplings unfortunately. Had the Pork&Chive / Beef Kimchi. The dough was so hard I couldnt even bite the dumplings well. The meat had no flavor and rough to eat. Was not pan fried. Shouldnt be charging 6$ an order for these, probably get better at the grocery store"
"I feel bad writing reviews like this, but these were some of the worst dumplings I have ever had. I lived in Asia for 13 years, including Shanghai and Hong Kong, and these dumplings are the worst frozen dumplings I have ever had. The dough is so thick and the meat is questionable, is it even meat? They are clearly not home made dumplings, and the quality of the frozen dumplings they buy is absolutely abysmal. Warning to not eat these. Just gross."
"TL;DR Come for the baos, the rest isn’t great. Also they’re cash only, which is always annoying. The room is quite small and dark, with only a few seats, so it’s mostly a to-go place. We had the chicken steamed dumplings. The envelope was too thick (but still ok) and the filling was relatively bland. We then had the pan-fried pork & chive dumplings. I expected the typical dumplings where only the bottom is fried, but here the entire dumpling was fried. The envelope was was too thick, almost like bread, and overall the dumpling was too fat. Lastly, we had a duck bao. The vegetables were fresh, the sauce was flavorful, and there was enough of it. There was not a lot of duck, but it was still great."
"Id rather get frozen dumplings than eat these dumplings. The taste was completely off, the dipling sauce watered down, and it was NOT pan fried like the menu advertised. Instead, the chicken dumplings were deep fryed in a fryer. I couldn’t eat the veggie dumplings. They tasted really stale and there was lack of any authentic flavors you would expect if you were to order dumplings from Chinatown. My advice is to this place is to revise your ingredients to follow traditional dumpling ingredients and flavors. Look up “dumpling” recipes and see what a difference it makes!"
