"Expect the servers to be loud women from Hong Kong. That's your only warning. I ordered the wonton noodles, choy sum, and hot tea. The wontons are 30% bigger than the other places I go to, but only 4 come in each bowl. They're fresh and flavorful. The shrimp are crisp, and they snap when you bite into them. They're delicious. The portion of noodles were a bit lacking so if you're a big eater, pay the extra $2 and get more noodles. Choy sum were pretty standard boiled with oyster sauce. Wish they put extra sauce. The tea is a teabag and not a tea pot. Be aware before you get the tea. Total came out to $15.70. Not a bad price."
"One thing I've learned long ago is that if you're a fan of wonton noodles, you're gonna want to try out any new place no matter what you read online... And thus I had to check out this restaurant once I noticed it last week. It's probably not a 5 star experience - more like a 4.5. But I enjoyed the food and will return, so I'll round it up to 5 stars. I had the wonton thin noodles with the beef tendon (牛腩雲吞麵). The beef tendons weren't meaty so that's a ding; and although there were only 3 wontons, they were fairly sizable and pretty good! No vegetables were included (an extra cost ingredient), but the dish was tasty and the portion right for me. It's a simple menu (didn't see any rice dishes) but that made it easy to order. One thing outstanding is the spicy oil that's traditionally used for the beef (but I use it on the wontons also). Service was frenetic if not all that "warm" (had to ask for my Coke a few times). The decor is simple but comfortable, with a smallish but clean bathroom (which Maxi's in Flushing doesn't even have). Pricing is very affordable and I look forward to my next visit!"
"Very authentic wanton noodles. Recommend to get the default superior noodles to try out all the toppings (fair warning this portion is on the big side for one) About 2 pieces of each toppings. Wanton, brisket and tendon are my top 3. The wanton is the best, very fresh, giant and stuffed with shrimp and meat. Fish ball very light and fluffy, it has a slight cilantro taste. Brisket and tendon are very soft and braised well. Beef slice is generally soft but has tough tendon which makes it hard to chew. Thin egg noodle is the authentic alkaline water noodle, some might not like the taste, you can substitute to other noodle type on the menu. They have chili oil on the table, and a small spoon of it adds a really nice kick, so be careful! Milk tea is decent, slightly too sweet, need to mix well with syrup at the bottom."
"Excellent fresh wontons - bouncy shrimp. I really liked the HK style meat sauce on the wide noodles. Two ingredient HK Lo mein w/ side soup for $13. Very tasty."
"I went here for brunch and there was only one service staff available but it was not busy. They were very friendly and asked us for our vaccination proof, which is a plus for me, because we were dining in. We ordered the S1, L3, and N7. S1 was good but fish ball was, as others have said, a little too fishy for my taste. The beef was super tender and great, and the wonton was like 95% shrimp (A+++++). L3 was sweet and kinda spicy but I loved the noodles they used. I felt it went well with the sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish. N7 I wish there was more beef but the dish was over all good. I'm a fan of ho fun and this dish came with that so I would be a bit biased on rating this dish. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back again."
