"Great Xiao Long Bao's! My go to is always the Shanghai nian Gao (rice cakes) I also get the kao fu which is very savory. Highly recommend to check this place out for your shanghai cravings."
"Was craving soup dumplings and this was in the area. Disappointed in the soup dumplings. The ones in Manhattan Chinatown are better. The dough was sticky like it hasn’t been cook throughly. The pork inside the soup dumplings breaks apart easily with a single touch. We also got the beef noodle soup “spicy”, there was so much slice peppers on top. The ingredients added on top should be in a stir fried dish. The beef had no flavor and it was very bland. I end up having to add the Chinese XO sauce in just for flavor. Also the noodles was very doughy. It was extremely soft and mushy when you bite into it. Last dish was the spicy fried rice, it was decent. Couldn’t tell what kind of spicy they used on the fried rice. The meat has a weird texture like the beef noodle soup. The only good thing is that it had a lot of shrimps. The interior has One Piece them on one side of the wall. There’s anime figurines as decoration. I wouldn’t come here again. The place is empty for a reason."
"We discovered Mr. Bun during the pandemic and their food is not bad. Their service is quite good. We usually get the Crab Soup Dumplings and the Shepherd’s Purse Dumplings. They’re actually quite filling! Their Beef with Chili Pepper use to taste better and now it tastes different. It seems like they add way more chili pepper than before which makes the dish a lot spicer. Overall, not bad and we usually order from them if we want to get some Chinese food."
"Craved Shanghainese food for a long time and it was definitely satisfied here. Everything was good, love how the fried noodles was separated so they don't get soggy. XLB was also delicious both the regular pork and crab. The pan fried buns were also juicy."
"Absolutely the best Shanghai food in south Brooklyn. Been going here for two years now food consistency has not once changed ever. Soup dumplings are to die for. Food is super clean in terms of taste and prices are very reasonable. Always puts a huge smile on my face when I dine here."
