"Our camp host, Tom, was friendly and welcoming. The area was clean and quiet. We had to make a last minute change with our spot because our vehicle was to long to fit in the given parking space. Just be careful what spot you pick if you have a longer car/van. Some have steep drop offs from the parking spaces, others have mounds of dirt behind. The tent and picnic table area was level and clean."
"Clean, quiet, and everything you'd expect from a campground. The bathrooms are well kept. There are water spigots near almost every site. The sites themselves are well kept. I honestly have not one bad thing to say. Edit..... Beware of Karen's. As I was trying to leave camp to head home, a woman from more than a few sites down had the nerve to come and yell at me that my exhaust from my truck was choking her out in her tent and she could not sleep. Granted, it was early as I had a 10-hour drive ahead of me, but all I was trying to do was de fog my windshield. I couldn't do anything but laugh it off."
"Very nice and well kept campground. The host was friendly and helpful. This campground was quiet, which can sometimes be hard to find in campgrounds. Our site was right on the trail near the lake. Bathhouse was clean. Would stay here again"
"Great facilities in the paddy creek camping area. Showers could be cleaned more often. No trash cans in the bathrooms either. Very nice trails and beach/lake access. Be ready for big black ants everywhere on everything."
"Nice area, spot #5, good pad to pop down to the lake. We did just the canoe and had a blast with our three young kids paddling and swimming near the shorelines. Crossing the lake by canoe with power boats going by is a little harrowing. We brought bikes to do bathroom and garbage runs. Glad there was firewood for sale, very convienent."
