Cosby Run

"If you’re camping and looking for a hot shower or good priced fire wood, this is the spot. While camping in a nearby campground we stopped here a couple of times to uses their pay showers/facilities and buy firewood. The owners are husband & wife and they are extremely nice and helpful. They’re very genuine people who are happy to see anyone that walks through their doors. They also have a cat and a dog who are just as happy and nice. The showers are paid, and both the mens and women’s is clean, had hot water with good pressure, and ample space to shower and change in. The firewood they sell is heat treated and bone dry, approved for use in the Smokys campgrounds. We will definitely be coming here again on our next trip to the smokys"

"Highly recommend. We were welcomed so warmly even on a late windy/rainy night. The owners are very personable and go the extra mile to make you feel right at home. Loved chatting with the owners wife- she was super sweet with her adorable cat & dog greeting us at the office desk. Remodeled bathrooms were wonderful! Clean sites- easy pull in access. Beautiful wooded property. Loved it- wish we could have stayed longer."

"So this was a particularly memorable camping trip for us. The camp ground is in the process of being renovated so the pool is closed for now, and half of the showers were out of service. It definitely wasn't busy. Most of the other campers are apparently very long term residents in RVs / campers that look like they've been there for quite some time, so the atmosphere is very low key, laid back, and generally friendly. The owner operators were extremely nice to us. Pet the dog, say hi to the resident pig, and enjoy the convenience to nearby Cosby State Park on the quiet side of the Smokies. You definitely won't forget this place. It's not the cleanest, or the most modern, but for the price, it was definitely worth the money."
