"The only thing that humanizes this business is the obvious gluttony for money and broken promises. Sunita is quite possibly the most unprofessional, callous, unreliable “business woman” I have ever met. I had purchased a suit for my boyfriend at this location, and she delivered an off color, off brand item that somewhat resembled what the photo she had showed us in her catalogue. When I confronted her about it, she specifically exclaimed that when she places the orders, she is not sure what will be arriving in what color/size/material. In short, if you like to play roulette with your money and place a gamble at this location, be prepared to lose. This business is nothing short of a SCAM. I cannot stress how much I DO NOT recommend. Please don’t go here. She’s very nice, as well as her husband, Sal. But once you give your money, it’s a wrap. Also, the customer service is a whooping 0/10."

"The absolute experience of my life. Sunita almost ruined my entire wedding and showed zero empathy or concern. Once she got her money; nothing else mattered. We decided to get my husband’s tuxedo here, which she ruined and overcharged us for. She charged us $430 for a tuxedo that is all over and costs $130 on Jamaica Ave. We purchased 5 bridesmaids dresses at the beginning of this year (to be proactive and avoid any last minute issues) She reassured us we would get it within 3 weeks… 3+ months and she still couldn’t get it right. She wasted our time, COUNTLESS times… promised me the dresses were at the store. Ordered bridesmaid dresses… and had us wait for months and months and then 3 weeks before our wedding, told us it’s not her problem that the dress doesn’t come in a size we were waiting for. She said we made a “bad choice” in dresses and suggested I find another girl to replace my bridesmaid. The nightmare goes on…We also ordered 5 suits for our groomsmen earlier this year (Feb-March) which she promised would come within 2 weeks. July comes around and suits are still not here/incorrect sizing/color. gray… She refused to give us back our money eventhough she messed up both our bridesmaids dresses and suits. She actually had the audacity to be rude to me over the phone saying I am frustrating and calling her too often. Mind you, I was calling days before my wedding for merchandise that was purchased months before for my wedding. She plainly and carelessly explained it’s not her fault that the sizing didn’t come correctly and the correct suits were abroad and not cleared…and said it was our loss. She took payments for everything we purchased and refused to give us our money back. After lots of arguing, she refunded 1 outfit of 10 outfits. One. We spent thousands with her. I am still absolutely disgusted and shocked by how someone could do what she did. She caused us so much stress, anxiety and frustration. I ended up having to go to David’s Bridal in Westbury and Portabella on Jamaica avenue and order a new set of dresses and suits…not my intention, but it was my only option days before my wedding. Sunita was always nice and reassuring in person, but once she got her money, what happens after means nothing to her and her business. She’s the sweetest person when you’re about to make a purchase. I wouldn’t advise anyone to make a purchase there. It’s definitely a gamble… you may get what you ordered or you may not. The best part of this review is… I am not a new customer of Sunita and Sal’s…. They have known my family for years. The fact that they put me through this headache and nightmare is unfortunate and unforgettable. Do not go!!"
