"The Ashe Farm is a beautiful property! Breakfast was delicious! You are able to pick each day what you like and it is all ready for you every morning. Roger is a top notch host. He is well informed about the area and has an endless list of activities and dining options to enjoy. Our bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! Everything is very clean! Thank you for having us! We had alot of fun! Sandy & Bill"
"Do not go here thinking there are antiques to look through. Only guests who stay are allowed to look and shop. My husband and I followed the signs and were greeted by a ride man who wanted to know what we were doing there. There are signs all over the area that there is an antique store there, but apparently it is only for guests. Who knew that was a way to run a business. Not friendly owners. Do not waste your time. Also, there isn't much in the area to do. Not somewhere I would recommend or return to."
"Roger is so great to share his lovely home and antiques with us! The 10 acre garden is lit up in the evening and looks magical! Breakfast was generous and delicious. Homemade scones for heavens sake!"
"Small room, no restroom in room, and had to share the bath/shower area with another couple. Very little privacy for a romantic getaway. This is a good stay for a single person, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a couple, unless romance isn’t what you’re looking for. My husband (an early riser) was basically shunned for getting up before breakfast and told to not disturb other guests that were sleeping. Since no drinks are allowed in the rooms, he had to go downstairs to get something to drink so he could take his medicine. We only seen the Hostess, Sandy, as she was loading the dishwasher after breakfast. She was very sweet, though!"
"Was excited about staying here but plans changed. Originally booked through booking.com. I knew that there was going to be a cancellation fee. Email from booking.com says that Ashe farms refused to allow a lower cancellation fee. Not happy with this experience. Will not provide the opportunity for my business in the future. I hope that they deal with customers better in person."
