"I just loved shopping here! Wanted to order online for a long long time but I prefer to try on clothes and feel the material. The store manager was super nice and helpful. We were really late but when he saw how excited I was to finally be in the shop he stayed open for us, not persisting on us leaving the store, so we could finish trying on the things we picked. I think I have never experienced something this nice and customer friendly! For the clothes, I loved them. Almost everything I tried on fitted and feels really good on the skin. I also bought a mystery bag where you don’t know what’s inside beforehand (a pretty cool concept) and love what I got inside. The store has a really cool ambiance, dreaming of going back already. So for me a 10/10 shopping experience, super nice staff and I am so happy with the stuff I bought."
"I searched the entire store and found 1 plus size clothing Item in 3XL. It seems like they only have a very small portion of stuff there. Couple of boots, not so much. Its better to buy online."
"I had no idea Dolls Kill had an actual store in NYC. I didn’t want to pay the shipping fee and noticed the free in person-pick up option, which was surprising. I figured it’s just a pick up spot, not an actual store! The interior is dope, staff is sweet and helpful. I’ve read few reviews before coming in regarding the 24-hour pick up, with people saying it can be hit or miss. I did not select this option for the next day delivery, but because it was free, so wasn’t really an issue for me. That being said, I expected to wait at least a 3-4 days because of the Black Friday/cyber Monday sales. However I placed my order on Monday evening and my package was ready to be picked up on Wednesday. I came right before closing, so there was no line or anything. Overall great experience, will definitely use this option again. P.S I also scored a maxi dress that was sold out online with original price tag of $60- I got it for $35. It was a final sale, but you can try it in store, so no surprises there, unlike with final sales online."
"I never knew there was a Dolls Kill store in NYC. I came here to pick up some shoes I ordered online and when I entered the store it was so cool it felt like I was in some underground party. EDM was blasting through these giant speakers there were neon lights on the ceiling and it was dim lighting. Definitely a vibe, I hope they host parties here I WOULD DEFINITELY GO!!. I wish there were more clothes though...maybe there wasn't as many pieces because they're getting ready for Halloween but there's only one side with everyday pieces and the other side had Halloween costumes."
"Coming here felt like an experience rather than just going shopping. From the atmosphere to the employees working here, everything felt like a delight. I had always followed the online store but never bought anything due to my difficulty finding the right clothing for my petite body. I have received an email invite for a 1V1 VIP experience of having one of their stylists pick out an outfit or outfits that fit your style. My appointment was at 1 pm. I arrived on time with only two associates working. Even with the shortage of staff at the moment they were accommodating. They were even kind when I started picking my pieces to try on. During the 1V1, they offer free drinks and your type of music during the session. The stylist learns of your fashion taste and creates an outfit to your liking. There was no pressure of buying, which felt great, though the stylish, Mika, did such a fantastic job of nailing my style. I ended up buying most of the outfits that were recommended to me. Danny, one of the store managers, helped pick an outfit as well, and even with her sense of style, I ended up buying it as well. As for price, I was fairly surprised by how affordable the clothing was considering what type of clothing style it was. Buying one outfit won't break the bank, and they also have discounted pieces if you're on a budget. From their clothing to their accessories, everything about this place I fell in love with. They were even so nice handling a situation where I left a choker behind and came back to retrieve it the next day. In, they did give it back when they sorted out the situation. I highly recommend getting a 1V1. It is a one-of-a-kind experience that leaves you wanting to come back. If I would recommend anything, I would love for them to build a loyalty program for their customers. I definitely will be coming back, and thanks to this location, I can buy confidently from their website."
