"Not the easiest trail to hike. Very steep climbing the rocks back up from the waterfall. If you're in good physical shape it's definitely worth the hike however!"
"Like everyone else says. Sign has wrong distance. About 2.5 miles to falls. Otherwise really beautiful and well maintained. Can be tricky after second bridge, little bit of a climb and very rocky. Busier on the weekends"
"Trail sign mileage is never correct... We logged 8.7 mile round trip from the parking area closest to Hampton (Hwy 321). That 8.7 mile round trip hike did include walking around and swimming in the waterfall and visiting the small waterfall near the shelter. Definitely recommend this trail and waterfall if you are a Waterfall Wonderer!"
"Great hike and waterfall. Although the signs for the distance are off. We were going to turn around because we had other plans but decided to change plans to see the waterfall. The sign said 1.5 miles to the falls, so it would've been a 3-mile round trip. But it took us about 5.5 miles round trip. It was worth it but heads up for others thinking it'll be short."
"Like some of the other reviews, the hike was not a mile but still beautiful and well maintained. If you 60+ it can be a challenge depending on your shape. We're in pretty good shape and were tired at the end but still glad we did it. The falls are amazing. We took our dogs which they loved but if your dog pulls that can be another challenge especially down the "cliff" steps made of rocks."
