The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had on a vacation. The rooms were cozy and the bed was comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!!"

We weren't hungry again until much later in the day after exploring Mt. Airy. Chris, the Innkeeper, was welcoming and attentive. Couldn't have asked for better accomodations!"

"My wife and I have stayed at many B&Bs over the past few years. Heart & Soul is absolutely the best that we've experienced. The rooms are very comfortable with a breakfast that is delicious and ample. The house is only a couple of blocks from downtown Mt. Airy (Mayberry). It's a very easy walk to all of the attractions. My wife and I love relaxing on the spacious front porch and breathing the fresh air. Chris and Pam are gracious hosts and go far beyond the call to make guests feel at home. We have stayed at Heart & Soul numerous times and plan to visit again in the very near future. Simply a wonderful place to stay!"

"My daughter and I took a short vacation and stayed in the Heart & Soul Bed & Breakfast. The owner was super nice and friendly. He gave great recommendations on things to do. The house was beautiful and easy to get to and parking was right on the street. There were complimentary beverages available each day if we needed something to take with us or just to drink while there. My daughter and I found all the board games and I taught her how to play Chinese Checkers. Now she wants to buy her own board and play all the time. This bed & breakfast is close enough that you could walk to things downtown or drive if you prefer. It's very close to most things associated with Andy Griffith, if that's your purpose in visiting Mt. Airy. Breakfast isn't so early that you feel you have to rush, especially if you're vacationing. We stayed in the room that was decorated with all the owners things from when he was a firefighter. If that interest you, he'll tell you all about it. Our room had an adjoining sitting room which was very nice. I recommend this place if you like bed & breakfasts."
