"We stayed overnight during a road trip. Honestly, spent maybe 8 hours in the hotel so we could get up and get back on the road. It was clean and comfy. The young lady who checked us in the night before was super nice. The morning one, eh, not so much. Breakfast was ok, but no signage was present (turkey sausage vs pork, etc). Eggs seems a little undercooked, but hot sauce kills them pesky salmonella, lol."

"The only drawback to this hotel is the back ground level floor does not lock!! I didn’t like that. Judy and Kayla (front desk) are wonderful and gracious. Breakfast was the best Holiday Inn breakfast I’ve ever had. Hotel is clean and peaceful. We enjoyed this stop."

"Room was nice and clean. The ladies who checked me in was very nice. The woman at checkout was nasty rude and disrespectful. I asked for a 15 min late checkout to take an emergency call. Housekeeper had stated “ I won’t be to your room before 12 anyway”. I’m a rewards member and needed 15 min to deal with a hospitalized family member. She cut me off mid sentence she has horrendous customer service skills. I have a doctoral degree in hospitality. Not all rules are black and white, empathy is important, and you NEVER cut someone off and interrupt. She also told me to take my very private and emotional call from physicians at ICU in Pitt who was set to call me at 11 on my phone that had been knocked over by a person in the lobby and only works on speaker now. Thanks for reminding me why I usually stay Hampton inn."
