Caffe Vento

"I was in the neighborhood and had a last minute meeting come up. Cafe Vento was the first option that came up on my GPS search. Usually I'm skeptical about coffee shops because it's been difficult to find one that has a quiet and productive atmosphere. Cafe Vento was just that, I was greeted with a warm welcome, placed an order for a Cappuccino and was able to sit and immediately get to my meeting. Staff was friendly, Cappuccino was delicious, atmosphere & aesthetic was fabulous. would definitely recommend."

"Unfortunately, what appeared to look like a cute little neighborhood coffee shop, turned out to be a sour taste in my mouth. Visited mid afternoon, cafe was empty and the barista looked disengaged and super stoned which was pretty unwelcoming. Nonetheless, we ordered a cappuccino and tea, both items were made in less than a minute which I questioned, but this was validated upon the first sip. Ingredients tasted (milk) bad and overall quality lacked (drink wasn’t steaming let alone warm to enjoy). Lastly, found it super weird that he offered us some (free mini cup) leftover cold hot chocolate from previous pour; when I asked if it’s supposed to be cold, he replied by saying “no, I didn’t want to waste any” which was odd. Anyways, tossed our drinks the corner right outside of the cafe."

"Great coffee, with a nice selection of pastries. Plenty of seating inside if you don’t want something to go and the staff are really nice and friendly."

"Love Caffe Vento! I found it by chance a couple weeks ago and now I love stopping by. The owner and staff are helpful, cheerful, and personable. It’s now my favorite spot to go to before I take a walk on the high line or hit the vessel at Hudson yards. I couldn’t recommend it enough, definitely worth checking out!"
