"I wish I would have ordered Chinese food. I used to love this place and when I tell you, do not waste your money at this establishment. I order chicken, Mac and yams and it was horrible. The chicken was so dry I could cry. I even order an extra side of cornbread because I used to love it. It was cold and didn’t taste fresh or buttery like it did a few years ago. Times is hard and I don’t have money to waste on subpar food. I wish I would have spent my money else where. I’m so disappointed in the food now. I feel sick to my stomach eating that dish. Please don’t eat here . It’s food poisoning waiting to happen"

"Restaurants are only as good as their cooks! Cut corners and you will get corner cutting results! I been a customer of this establishment for almost 20 years now and today i will have to retire from getting food here. Their Mac n cheese is disgusting and very watery!!! There’s definitely a different cook/chef making that food back there but not only was the Mac n cheese bad but there fish was totally bland and they knew it was because they tried to cut corners and season the fish after it was cook! Not so great idea. The cornbread was more of the Caucasian side of the country’s taste and not our very own African American authentic soul food taste. Just a disappointing experience!"

"I ordered.... Mac&cheese, fried shrimps, collard greens, fish ( withing ), yams and wingettes. The wingettes (chicken) tasted like fish/shrimp; seafood. The yams was too mushy ( like baby food ), the shrimps were too small ( taste great ) and the greens also taste great but were too leafy. The service was fast; they were polite, & professional. The prices are reasonable and the establishment was clean. 9/16/23 Update: I ordered chicken wingettes mac&cheese and greens. All the wingettes had hair/feathers on them. Smh..!"

"I live by the restaurant and everytime i drive by its always packed with people. So today I decided to go in. First of all outside you can smell the fried seafood and inside smells so good. Ordered the 8 piece bbq wings with collard greens and sweet yams let me tell you jesus toke the wheel when i had the first bite. Everything so fresh and juicy. If your in the area please check them out, and im the type to not leave reviews but i had to for this food."
