Starbucks

"My disabled fiance bought a grande drink and a sandwich, spent about $14. He sat outside for about 20minutes enjoying his drink while waiting for me only for the baristas to come outside and tell him that he can't sit outside forever and when he told them that he bought something already they said "it's only a grande." Never giving my business to Starbucks ever again. The audacity to act like that purchase wasn't worthy enough to be allowed to sit outside, in the freezing cold by the way since there are no seats allowed inside either. Gotta love the city's hostile architecture that is now spilling into businesses. If you don't want people sitting in or outside your establishment then don't open up your establishment. Better yet just make it a pop up window since you clearly hate the idea of having customers present."

"I go to this Starbucks very often and the customer service has fallen way off since they re-opened. You have people having personal conversations (sometimes inappropriate conversation) and not paying a bit of attention to the person or their orders. Not only was the girl having a conversation in the middle of taking my order, she got my order completely wrong. I also had to wait 10 minutes for my order. One person started it and walked off with no communication to the next person, so it sat there half done until two more drinks were made instead. Seems like they just don’t care and are just there for a paycheck. Specifically the morning/afternoon team. Closing crew is actually pretty good no complaints there."

"This location of Starbucks, which can be found off of Columbus Avenue on the Upper West Side, is pretty good!! My coffee is always made correctly and the space is always clean + well - kept. My only complaint is that sometimes there is a bit of a wait and the way the store is designed, it can get kind of packed. The people who are waiting for their orders to be ready can easily be entangled with the people who are waiting in line to order (when it's busy). Otherwise, I have no complaints - this is a great spot!"

"This was my regular location both before and after renovation. Unfortunately, after renovation the customer service has become abysmal. I'm generally a low need customer, I don't really ask for alternatives/suggestions and I understand mistakes happen. However, Leslie (I believe that was her name as I have poor vision and it was written in cursive) at the counter to take orders has absolutely no customer service. I gave her my order, she asked the girl behind her if they had white chocolate syrup. But then it fell into an entire different conversation before she rang up my order in the wrong size. I told her I had asked for a venti not a grande, where she proceeded to roll her eyes at me before changing it. She ended it with "That all?", she asked for my name, ignored me when I said it to say something to the girl behind her and when she turned back to me just sneered the question of my name again. I get bad days, but watching her do this to more people while I waited for my drink was terrible. Generally I'm also unbothered by people using their phone while they work but seeing her ignore people waiting to order was just rude. My drink is also disappointing, tasted terribly watered down. Doesn't have even the memories of coffee in the flavor, nor does it at least taste like white chocolate. I'm not sure if this is the fault of the new equipment, a change from the company or something else but this is terrible."
