Reviews of Elite Pastries Cafe
"This place has the best pastries. I got the spanakopita, so tasty and fresh. Also the lady who helped me, Olivia, was kind and quick. Will come back"
"Great selection, but what good is a large selection when some items aren't fresh? I ordered two cake slices which were about $6 each. An Oreo cheesecake, and a carrot cake slice. The Oreo on top of the cake was completely soggy, and on both cakes you could taste that the frosting was made with some type of terrible tasting gelatin or synthetic frosting of some sort which would theoretically hold it's structure and look fresh for days/weeks. This left me wondering, how old are these cake slices?? Don't think I'll be buying from here again, unfortunately ..."
"Got a cake for my b day was the nastiest taste ever got the chocolate one with raspberry and cherry taste it was really bad. I gave 3 stars because I never tried other cakes from there maybe it was just that cake so giving them extra 2 ."
"Big selection of desserts. Quality is ok. I went in the afternoon but I guess it's fresh earlier in the day. The cream used in the desserts is good. The dough, crust etc wasn't as good. The galaktobureko had good texture and sweetness but it's not up there with the best. I'll give it another chance if I'm around earlier in the day."
"After walking by their enticing display on multiple occasions, I finally decided to pop in. They have a full assortments of small tarts/pastries, French macaron, cookies, cakes, and cupcakes. We went for an order of spinach pie, mini cannolis, red velvet cupcake, and a slice of cheesecake. The red velvet cupcake was so disappointingly DRY and tasted like it had been in the display for a week. Cheesecake wasn’t bad - just if you were expecting a rich, thick, and creamy slice, you’d also be sorely disappointed. Their cheesecake was more on the light/airy side.. not bad if you know what to expect. The cannolis were pretty good, standard crispy shell, filling not too sweet. The one and only reason I would come back to this bakery - their spinach pie. I took this to go and ate it for breakfast the next morning after popping it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes and it was so good. Perfect spinach-dough ratio, filo dough super flaky."
