"I have only had the breakfast and a turkey sandwich and I have to say that I'm fairly impressed with the breakfast -- especially the fact that they make decent scrambled eggs! Not the best but okay and at least they know what it is; many hole-in-the-wall places actually think it's just chopped up omelette-styled eggs!! And the sausage patties and links are actually flavorful on account of the oil (some people would think it "greasy" but to me that's the whole point of "hearty" foods that fill you up)...ditto the hash browns. The turkey sandwich on the other hand was the same as you can get literally anywhere else, especially since they charge extra for basics like lettuce, tomato, and onions -- and hardly give you any for it!!! But I'll definitely make this a regular stop for when I want a good old-fashioned hearty breakfast! Unfortunately it's pretty expensive at $10/lb. but most folks would probably not eat in the "hungry man" portions I do and a petite lady should be able to spend less than ten."
"The food served at Rae's is good but the customer service is poor. They are impatient and snatched money from your hand and no amount of pleasantry is reciprocated. I don't only buy food but i appreciate service when i am spending my money especially when i have other options. UPDATE: THE SERVICE IS NOW GREAT. They greet you with a smile and do small talk and patiently wait. Jennie at the front makes the biggest difference. Thank you for listening. We love you all and now the service match the food"
"Small a little bit crowded place. A few tables available . The variety of food is good. I liked grilled chicken breast, spicy wings, Korean style pork. Veggies were delicious and crunchy. I took buffet food by pound 7$ per lbs."
"I've been to Raes a few times no problem. Today I ordered bacon egg and cheese with home fries, whole wheat toast and coffee which is my usual but today I got a little extra iron. I took a couple bites of my toast and I felt something in my mouth crunching while i was chewing i didnt want to break a teeth so i took it out and it was a piece of metal. It wasnt the aluminum foil the toast was in. I went to the counter girl and showed her the piece of metal and she didn't even apologize she only said what do you want me to do. She brought the cook out and he said i dont know how that got in there. I won't be going back there. I was giving them a chance to do the right thing and they didnt. Imagine if i swallowed it."
