Lefkos Pyrgos Cafe 3302 Ditmars Boulevard, Queens, NY 11105

"I walked in tonight with my little girl and husband. A man and two women were behind the counter. They never smiled, however one lady came to me to help, I smiled and said hi and started showing her which desserts I would like to buy. I was choosing 6 items from their desserts. My husband asked a question to the male, and the lady helping me gave him a bad look and said you’re together? Then she gave me a bad look and when I looked at her she gave me a nasty look from from bottom to top, but I ignored this. Then they asked by saying “this is to go right ?” I said it’s to stay. She walked to furthest table in the back. There was just two families sitting in the back, a group of 4 and a group of 3, asked for the seat right next to the group of three which was the same seating as the group of three and she said no we could not sit there that it’s only for a group of 4. We decided to leave the store. It was a sign to leave the store, it actually wreaked of urine and we should have left from the point when we smelled it instead."

"some cakes & pastries are delicious, some aren't. i wish they have tags for each cake/pastries because it would be easier for everyone to just say what customer want instead of poiting their fingers. the woman owner isnt very friendly... overpriced too..."

"I love coming to this place. I’ve been going here for years and the pastries are delicious. I always want all of them. I think price point is fair. The one complaint this place gets is the service, which in my experience has been overall ok, once in a while it gets spotty. I also love the corner location of this cafe, it’s very open and has a chill vibe. I recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth."

"I see that this place doesn’t exactly get the rating is deserves due to many not enjoying the hospitality that comes from this place. When it comes to their desserts everything is delicious, I can see how people could feel the service is not up to par and alot of that has to do with the fact that the family that owns this place comes from abroad and their English is not that good. If you want a high quality selection of fresh dessert you will not be disappointed coming here."

"Well know Greek bakery that's been around for years. You can find most of the famous Greek deserts here like baklava, kataifi, melomakarona and Kourabiethes cookies and many more. They carry wide range of Greek and American cakes and pies. The big issue here is the customer service that's been to say it politely very poor. You might not get a warm welcome but if you are taking desserts to go then you won't mind."
