"You paying 800$ for an open space section where people stand . Absolutely empty space in a closed section and they want an upcharge for and half empty club it’s ridiculous. No real anything in exchange for ur money for a section at this club but seat for people to stand over u . Buy a bottle and stay home"
"Paid $1000+ for their Bday Package #1 (worth $700 as per their pricing list emailed to me), and turned around and charged my card an extra $600 for no reason, and ignoring my calls & emails. Will be disputed though, don't do business with them AT ALL."
"SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, WENT 20 DOLLARS FOR FEMALES 40 FOR MEN THEY HAD NO FOOD AT MIDNIGHT AND THERE CARD MACHINE WAS NOT WORKING. NOT TO MENTION IT WAS EMPTY AS HECK IN THERE I WOULD NOT GO BACK 0 STARS WORST PLACE IN ASTORIA HANDS DOWN"
"Horrible, the whole staff lining their pockets individually. From the door to the bar to the hookah to the tables. The circle would like to have a good time but how a $250 bottle of rose is $350. That’s fine, extra price cause it’s a club but hey pretty bartender how is the balance $443 for 1 bottle of champagne. What state/city tax is $90 extra. Crimescene ….. Never again"
"3.5 stars. Acapulco is your typical local hole-in-the-wall joint. It is situated right next to a Citgo gas station on the corner of 31st Avenue and 43rd Street in Astoria. This place has a fun, energetic, dive-y vibe to it. They serve Mexican American cuisine and the menu is pretty extensive. They don't normally open until about 5pm but they have take out and delivery service during lunch time. Last Thursday, I happened to be walking by as they were setting up their outdoor dining area. The lady working the counter saw me checking out the menu that was posted outside and asked if I was interested in ordering. I ended up getting an order of chicken quesadilla and fish tacos. The chicken quesadilla comes with a side of french fries. This was a very filling dish and tasted pretty good. The fish tacos come with sides of guacamole and verde sauce. They normally saute the fish tacos but I asked for it to be fried which they accommodated. The verde sauce was a nice touch to the dish. Overall, two very solid dishes. I must note that it did take a good 15-20 minutes for my food to get out. I didn't mind too much as I was able to sit down at one of their tables in the outdoor seating area along the street. It was quite pleasant sitting there and listening to some cool Latin music that were playing overhead on their sound system. I saw on their Instagram that they sometimes have drink and food specials. I would check them out if you're in the neighborhood. Tip: restaurant and sports bar open for indoor dining at 5pm but you can order delivery during lunch"
