"After three consecutive days of cycling on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Wild Hare Retreat was just the "retreat" we needed! The convenient and quiet location just yards off the parkway couldn't have been more convenient. The grounds are beautiful and the historic structures and vintage RVs are so cool! Be sure to ask about the natural spring. We opted for the glamping in an RV experience and were totally delighted. The real surprise, though, was the hospitality of the proprietors, Cara and Scott. As soon as we arrived at the end of a long day of riding, we were warmly welcomed and accommodated. We had some logistical challenges related to our cycling journey, and they went waaaaay above and beyond to make sure our trip went alright. I really can't say enough about them, their property, and the general ethos. Thank you, Cara and Scott, for a wonderful experience! We'll definitely be back. You should go too!"

"Cara and Scott are excellent, excellent hosts. We stayed here after a long three days of cycling the blue ridge parkway, and in terms of service they were super attentive to every detail, from making reservations and payment easy, to confirming ETA on the day of arrival, to providing extra bedding for a chilly night in a glamper, to laying up a fire in the firepit for us before we got there. On top of all that, at departure time, they went way out of their way to help us logistically with the next phase of our trip. We stayed in the RV, and it was perfect for our needs. The location is neat, right off, but not on, the parkway. Can't say enough good things about the experience. 100% positive. Awesome."

"A beautiful and charming location nestled on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Scott and Cara were the best hosts with great suggestions of what to see and do on the property and nearby. I stayed in a private room in the main house, but will try to private campers next time! Highly recommend for a few nights or longer stays as well."
