"The shrimp and grits were some of the best grits that I have ever had! The creaminess was spectacular and the flavors had my mouth watering as I ate. All in all, 5 stars on the food! This spot is decorated floor to ceiling in African art and it’s lovely. Down to the lights! This spot is super tiny. So you’re elbow to elbow with folks when it’s a busy Saturday. They seem to be a Black owned family business b/c the wait staff were acting as hostess, bartender, and server. With that being said, there was a wait to get a table and once seated there was a wait to have our orders taken. But the food came out pretty quickly. They also missed something that we ordered and we didn’t realize until we looked at the emailed bill late on that evening."

"One sentence - very cozy neighborhood breakfast spot. African decor was great too as don't see that too often in cafe's. Everything I had was delicious. Tried french toast with caramelized blueberries/bananas/apple and then tried a bit of pancakes with pecans/walnuts from my date. Also cappuccino was spot on. Only minor ding was the wait for food once seated, but we were there right when restaurant opened."

"Very cozy and comfortable brunch place with friendly staff and delicious food. Ordered a pancake meal with grits on the side which were much better than expected! Usually grits aren't too tasty from restaurants but this place knows how to season their food so well. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for sweet and savory breakfast, brunch, or dinner!"

"It's such a great place to dine! I loved the environment and people. The food was incredible. I ordered the Zaca Beef Burger with home fries, and it was so delicious. The beef patty was thick and juicy. They serve very good portions, and you would leave satisfied, I enjoyed my dining experience."
