"By the gas tank was filled up with an E 85, which mess up the ignition system. We took the car to the the Hempstead pep boys, they kept the car for a week and did not address the issue. I called the area manager who sent us to the Hicksville pepboys. They kept the car for 2 days and solved the problem, great service"

"I don't usually review places I go to, but when I do it's because the place is a rip off. I brought my car in for an inspection and failed, citing the need to replace all 4 wheels' brakes and rotors. Took my car home, popped off two of the wheels they claimed to have "inspected"(the wheels were practically glued in place, and definitely were not removed)... and let me just attach some photos of what they failed. Now the actual failed inspection only ran me $35. That's not the end of the world or anything, but if I took the brakes and rotors replacements God knows what I would have ended up paying - and you know a good chunk of people would just take it because they don't know how to check themselves. To cut a long story short - don't go to this place. I will be submitting a dmv vs 35."

"Had a popped tire and came in to have it replaced. They were near closing time and still helped me out. Even more luckily, they had one brand new tire left in the size I needed. Life has a crazy sense of humor. Anyways, the service was much appreciated!"

"The work is great, but the amount of time it takes to complete work is quite long. Dropped my car off for an oil change at 11 AM, was told to get it at 1 PM. I called at 1:30PM and was told they didn't get to it yet but they would be done by 3 PM. I called at 3:30PM and the guy on the phone said "I think it's in the shop now." I decided to go there only to find my car parked exactly where I had left it 4.5 hours earlier. I had even scheduled an appointment online which is the crazy part. I'm not sure why they have appointment scheduling options if the timing isn't accurate anyways."
