"I’m so glad that this lovely spot was close by. My signature Cesar salad was delicious which I enjoyed at a sunny table at the window. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and music to accompany my meal. This spot was a great find in Beacon."

"Where in the Hudson Valley is Barbara Martinez? Butterhead Salad Company in Downtown Beacon. Perfect day to check them out. Honestly the choices are so overwhelming because they have absolutely everything. It’s a salad lovers paradise. But they also offer Quinoa Bowls and Rice bowls and Froyo even cookies. I kept it simple and tried their special of the day called “Simple Shrimp” which was far from simple. It had your greens, black beans, corn, avocado, cilantro mango salad, red onions, tomatoes, cucumber and a bunch of other things I’m sure I’m missing. I switched out the shrimp for chicken, which was not a problem. The price was $18 which may sound high but there was enough for two. Taking them home for a second round. It’s giant and delicious. Sit in, Sit outside or Take out. Great vibe and great food. Check them out."

"Butterhead's opening weekend was promising and I think the best estimation of this salad shop is that it's a diamond in the rough. Or maybe a crisp head of lettuce in the dirt? Some strengths include: - The Strawberry Mint drink was really very good so I'd recommend that to anyone walking down Main Street- this will be an absolute banger on a hot Summer's day. - We also had 2 different salads and all of the ingredients were very fresh. While the prices might be a touch more expensive than other cafes in the area, the quality of the ingredients at Butterhead is definitely better. - Decor and branding are on point, inside and out, from the shop itself to the website. Don't change a thing. - The owner is truly very sincere & kind, and more importantly, values customer feedback. - Customer loyalty cards are always great. The areas of opportunity that Butterhead could really take advantage of are mostly just tiny things that come along with newly opened businesses. I could recommend listing all of your salad specials out in-store like the website has. Be careful with the wicker seating because those have the tendency to wear out and break down quickly with a lot of use. Be sure the Open/Closed sign in flipped to Open! I noticed 3 - 4 parties walk up to the door, look inside, and then turn away because the sign wasn't flipped."
