"LOVE this place! I’ve stayed a lot of places in Blowing Rock and this is my new favorite. Loved how family-friendly it was. Extremely clean rooms, friendly staff(even called after I checked in to see how I was settling in), charming grounds, a couple minutes walk from all the dining and shops Blowing Rock has to offer. Was too chilly to sit on the patio, but will definitely take advantage of that in warmer weather. Awesome value. Stay here!"
"We stayed here in 2015. The elderly couple that owned it was so friendly we'd set on balcony and talked to them of the evenings. The day before we were to leave. My car broke down. The man took my husband to get the parts . Lent him the tools and even offered to help. He took me to the grocery store. And even didn't charge us for the next day or night. I told them we appreciated that so much . That where we lived no owner would ever do the things they'd done for us. We went back down a few years ago to see them. But was told by front desk that it had been sold . I really wanted to see them."
"I had a highly disappointing experience with the staff and management of this hotel. Avoid this hotel at all costs, as the customer service is worse than a Super 8. Despite following all procedures to retrieve my forgotten pillow, the staff's negligence led to me paying for shipping costs due to their mistake. The manager, Griffin, dismissively claimed they aren't liable for forgotten items, which was not the point here. I live in Charlotte and drove a total of 4 hrs only to return empty-handed after their staff mistakenly let someone take my pillow home. Now, they want me to drive back to blowing rock or cover the shipping costs for their error. Avoid this hotel – a wasted trip and terrible customer service."
"Great value for the price! We needed a pet-friendly place so stay and this met our needs. Pet fee was only $25, compared to $75 for a lot of hotels. Older dated accommodations, but it was clean and bed was comfortable. Front desk person was nice, but front desk does close early"
"Very Clean. Cozy. Dog friendly. Accesible. Safe. Strong wifi (in a town where cell service is weak) made wifi calling and the next day travel planning possible. We walked around town from the hotel, and slept well in comfortable beds."
