"Staying at Riverβs Edge Inn was a great experience! Tom and Christine were able to accommodate us last minute and made us feel at home. Our room was clean, cute, and right by the water. We would definitely stay here again."
"Four friends stayed Friday and Saturday. Tom and Christine made us feel completely at home. We were impressed with the lovely French country decor and with the cleanliness of every room in the house. The beds were so comfortable being dressed in the high quality mattress, pillows and finest linens. The breakfast was amazing. We loved the French pastries. Access to the New River just outside the door is a joy. I would recommend this B&B to those who enjoy comfort and fun by the riverside."
"Tom and Christine are delightful and they offer a lovely atmosphere within the Appalachian Mountains of Boone, NC area. They served a delicious breakfast and joined us with some great conversation. Thank you Tom and Christine for the warm welcome and awesome stay!"
"The setting is beautiful, the food is great, and the beds are comfortable. Tom is friendly and very accommodating. We stayed 3 nights in July and did outdoor activities every day. We had good weather and loved eating on the porch and listening to the birds and nature. The ambiance was very French-influenced (Tom's wife is French) which was nice. Be forewarned, however, that you may be served smoked (raw) salmon for breakfast - which was a shock to my system. However, Tom is happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions. He also was very generous in supplying us with plenty of bottled water for our outings. The owners bought the house already built and our issues were mostly with the house itself - there was a flight of stairs up to the front porch level, stairs again up to the bedrooms, and the entryway was a hassle (too small and too close to the bottom of the stairs). Overall, the house felt cramped - especially for tall people - so I would not plan to stay here if I planned to spend much time indoors. Parking was also a bit tight."
"Charming , inviting and so peaceful ! We were first time guests and definitely plan on staying there in the future. Tom cooked a delicious breakfast each morning and served it on the patio overlooking the river. He also gave us ideas on different places to go. We didnβt want to leave and have to go back to the scorching heat in Arizona !"
