"Beautiful and very peaceful place to just get out on the lake and do some fishing and relax...and see something that not most people never get out in the world to see..."
"Love taking the family here every year. My only complaint is the bathrooms,;I understand Facility maintenance people can't help how nasty some of the visitors are but it would be nice if they could stay on top of cleaning the bathrooms more"
"Love taking the kids to the lake. They can take floats and their sand buckets and play in the sand. If you pay to park you can launch kayaks for free. We enjoy having small picnics on the swim beach access. There's also a small playground. Picnic shelters. Restrooms/ porta potty are onsite. Only issue we've had is young "ladies" being disrespectful wearing thong swim wear and playing loud music using very foul vulgar/ explicit language. Yes it may be a Public area but it is also family oriented. Parking fee is $5. There is a kiosk and you leave the ticket on your dash."
"I absolutely love Boomer Park, I came here many years before having kids of my own to bring! Great beach area for family fun, plenty of trash cans with hardly ever any liter and the park rangers ride through often. I've never went to Boomer Park and not had a good time!"
"Bob at the front gate was so helpful in helping me get a yearly pass and pointing me into some beautiful locations for bird and turtle watching. This is now my favorite place to kayak on the lake!"
