Bagel Cafe of Stony Brook

"If I could rate the customer service I would give a 0. Been in the business for 10+ years. I tried to call in my order to which they told me to text it in. Waited in line for over 10 minutes to be acknowledged. So I decide to ask how my order was looking and they told me they were out of bagel I ordered. That was my first time there and will be last. Do better; maybe take phone calls. Clown show"

"I’m not sure when the new owners took over as I haven’t been here in a while, but the bagels here are hands down the best bagels around. I couldn’t believe how fresh and good they were. Will be my regular spot again."

"I was driving by on my way to a job and wanted to grab a quick breakfast sandwich. I called in to place the order ahead so I wouldn’t waste time waiting for the sandwich to be made. The person I spoke to says that they don’t take orders over the phone and that I would have to text it in. I told them that I was driving and that I couldn’t text. They said that I would have to wait. They have the time to pick up the phone, but they can’t just take a piece of paper (that I know they have right there) and take my order? I just hung up on them and called Strathmore Bagels. They helped me out. Where is the customer service? Not here."

"Today I stopped in to get a sandwich. Ham, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, and Mayo on a roll. The store was not busy however the employees all seemed disgruntled. I took my sandwich with me and once i opened it I was extremely disappointed. My sandwich had 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese. I have never in all of my life had such a disappointing sandwich. Public school cafeterias will give you more protein on a sandwich then the Long Island bagel cafe . It's unacceptable to be charging almost $10 for a sandwich like this. I have been to other Long Island bagel cafe locations and had a wonderful experience. This location needs to reevaluate their business and the quality of food they are serving."

"Simply put this is a great bagel place. You can get a nice breakfast here and they do have some lunch items as well. They do offer catering in the way of 3-6 foot heroes as well. Whenever my wife and I are in the area we stop by for breakfast."
