Shah and Associates Family Practice

"I used to be a patient of Dr. Shah's office, and transferred my husband and son's care over to this clinic as well. Dr. Shah is very thorough and is focused on improving/maintaining one's health. I actually really like him when I went there. However, their billing was getting obnoxious. Since all three of my family members were going to this office, we would get showered with bills 6 months after service dates. I remember being confused about why we were receiving bills after so much time had passed. We have an outstanding health insurance and now that we have stopped going to this office, annoying, unclear and extremely delayed bills have stopped as well. My husband recently got around to transferring his records to another clinic, and called Dr. Shah's office for medical records. They told us that one has to go in in in person to sign a medical release form because they need an original signature. It's honestly an archaic system. There are now excellent platforms like DocuSign and others that can take care of a medical release form electronically, without the inconvenience to the patient and the risk of being in an office full of sick people so you could put your signature on a records release form. Inefficient and outdated. So if you are thinking of becoming a patient at this office, keep in mind that you would have to appear in person every time you need your records released to another clinic."

"I wish I could give zero stars. “Dr.” Shah is more like a snake oiled salesman who is dismissive and lacks the appropriate compassion required to work in a job of his position. He is condescending, demeaning and doesn’t listen. I’m honestly shocked at all of the positive reviews and have to assume that any real reviews of his character or poor experiences here have been removed. Jetal Shukla is also incompetent and untrustworthy. I went to see her first and was not only brushed off during a really stressful health period but lied to about the proper level of care she was going to provide. I received none of that. It’s taken me a while to write this review but these two are dangerous (especially if you have serious issues) and people should be informed. The best thing about this place is their front desk secretary Cora. She was a saving grace when I needed it and I wish her all the best."
