"This Williams Lumber was previously Cross Lumber a family owned business that operated for many years. It was purchased by Williams Lumber also a family owned business. As a general contractor I frequently did business at this and other Williams Lumber locations. I always had a good experience with Williams Lumber. Their prices are competitive and they will special order at the customers request. I used a lot of 2x cedar products in my work and Williams usually had anything I needed in stock. The store in Rhinebeck has a wide variety of building products, tools, landscaping, gardening and even extensive work clothes available. I would highly recommend Williams Lumber for all your building needs."

"Only get one star for politeness. I called ahead for what I needed/wanted and was told most of what I would need was there. Great. So I drove down went to the desk per the phone call, waited probably average time then was told less than half of what I needed and only half of what I was told on the phone was there. Oh well, I paid for them, rent to the yard for pick-up and waited quite a while. Finally he went in checked around and came back saying they didn't have ANY. NONE. So back in for a refund and home with nothing in hand, only frustration"
