"Parking is horrible. Chowder was great. They were out of the dinner that 5 of us were planning on ordering (if it's that popular you would think they'd have more, especially on a weekend). Main course was ok. Dessert was phenomenal. Private room for our party was tastefully decorated. Service was good. Water was empty without refilling. Would go again."

"I was so pleasantly surprised when we got to the Inn! My parents and I had two rooms for four days and three nights. They had dinner one evening and said it was delicious. The rooms are super quaint. The beds are comfy. The whole place is absolutely spotless, which is difficult for an old historic building. My dad and I were saying they must clean it with a toothbrush! The attention to detail is obvious. There's a pool table in the lobby. The continental breakfast is small but it's so much better than the ones you find at hotel chains where you know they all use the same vendors. The little blueberry scones were the best I ever had. I took some for the road! They had fresh muffins too, warm from the oven. Then there's coffee, juice, cereal, bagels and English muffins. The staff was fantastic, very pleasant and easy to chat with. Absolutely recommend."

"Attended a rehearsal dinner there last weekend. Very nice atmosphere and professional staff. However the food did not meet expectations. Between the dry burnt chicken parm, lasagna with pasty noodleless meat/cheese consistency, frozen sausage and meatballs that were obviously store bought and had little sauce it was a great disappointment. However, the dessert trays were very nice."

"We had our wedding at the Avon Inn and had such an amazing experience! Jen, Chef Dave, Ashley, and the rest of the staff were so helpful, accommodating, and friendly. The venue was timeless, classic, and beautiful. Guests truly raved about the food. We cannot wait to go back for dinner sometime! We will also be going back to stay overnight at some point! The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. If you are looking for an all-inclusive wedding venue, I highly recommend the Avon Inn!"

"Walking distance to the small town. Great service at the restaurant and inn. Continental breakfast, the time we stayed they had amazing muffins and fresh fruit. Recommend staying here if you are a brewery fan, there are many within 20 minutes."
