Reviews
"I was able to take my returns here after first going to the Talbots in Henrietta which had a sign on the door stating that they were closed because they were short on staff."
"Love the quality and classic style of Talbots. Staff in Pittsford are always friendly and very helpful. The store is clean, well stocked and great displays."
"High-quality clothing! Very pricey unless you hit a sale and find a coupon or sign up for their texts. I shop there because they have a great petite department."
"I've shopped here before, and the clerks can be a bit overbearing but at least friendly. Recently though I had a simple return and they were just awful. Tried to avoid me, and then they were very impolite, and couldn't even figure out how to do the return without a big fuss. In the end they got it wrong anyway, and the woman snapped at me "That's what you wanted, isn't it?" Ugh. I get that stores don't want to do returns because the store might get a hit, but this definitely made me not want to shop there anymore."
"Possibly the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I never write reviews, but this experience was just that awful - the attitude from both clerks was more arrogant, dismissive, and rude than I could have even imagined. I went to return a sweater my mom bought in late November and wore once for about 2 hours before she realized the shoulder seams were off kilter and it was defective. I had her receipt, and explained that she was in the hospital which was why she couldn’t return it. Both sales clerks were incredibly rude, they said it was “obviously worn more than once” (it wasn’t), that it was outside the 60-day return window (it wasn’t), that the sweater was asymmetrical and not defective (it was clearly a defect, when compared to another one they found on the shelf), and the icing on the cake was when the clerk had the gall to tell me that my mother “hasn’t been in the hospital this whole time.” I was honestly aghast when she said that - how would she possibly know?! The other clerk finally instructed the truly awful one to “just do the return.” She literally rolled her eyes and then completed the return in silence, wordlessly handing me the store credit receipt and then immediately turning her back on me. Take your money elsewhere, this company does not deserve loyal customers if this is who they are hiring."
