"Unprofessional and under qualified. In mid November 2023 I took my John Deere in for a small leak at the water pump. I was told that it would be looked at that week so an estimate could be given. After a week I texted and was told that the water leak was fine but the drive belt and pulleys were shot. I gave $500 down for the purchase of parts an again was told it would be a week. For weeks I was given the brush off saying the problem was parts availability. Calling around I found the parts he listed easily available. Fast forward to mid January and the owner admits to me that he still hasn't touched my tractor but plans on having a "kid" get to it that night. At this point I'm fed up, I request receipts for the purchased parts and a refund of whats left from my deposit. The day I went to get my tractor he informs me he fixed it the night before. The labor and parts were all taken out of the original $500. I loaded the machine grabbed the receipt and left. Arriving home i found the water leak worse than ever. The gas tank on the tractor loose with bolts missing. The receipt is a joke, the owner actually had the nerve to put a "heat surcharge" on basically to round the cost up to the original deposit because he didn't buy all the parts he quoted. I could have actually had the work done and for less at the dealership. I'm disgusted by this whole situation and could say way worse but I'm just going to leave it with advice to everyone to avoid this "shop" at all cost."

"Estimated 1 week to do the job then took 6 weeks. When I finally got it back it was blowing smoke, making a loud matalic sound,there was a cable laying across the mower deck and it sounded like the new muffler wasnt sealed. I don't think he checks his work before sending it out. It was taken back for another week. Got it back today and everything was fixed except for the cable laying on the outside of the mower deck. When I questioned why is wasn't back where it was before I was told I tie wrapped it down should be fine. The last thing that concerned me was on his Facebook page he posted a picture of my mower with the caption "More happy customers via Erwin's. Plugging away and getting them done ." This was posted on July 17th. a week before it was brought back to me the first time not fixed to agreement. I would not recommend using this service . ##EDIT## Your response is nothing but lies. Everything in my review is true and I can prove it with texts and video. I can publish those if you would like. As for your offer of a discount. I told you I didn't want one, i would pay the agreed upon price. Unlike you I don't believe that if you give someone a discount it makes up for subpar work and timelines that mean nothing. If your customers don't mind subpar work or a 1 week job taking 6 weeks to get a little discount good for them I prefer to pay full price for quality work. Maybe if you did good work the first time you wouldn't have to offer discounts to keep a customer happy. Lastly I treated your driver with nothing but respect. As for you after you lied to my face in my driveway about the proper location of the throttle (?) cable I handed you the full balance due and said have a good day and I walked away from you."

"The shop is one of the best shops in this area. They have great customer service and get back to you and are very kind. I would suggest going here over any other place even if you have to travel a bit of a distance. The man that owns the shop knows basically everything you need to know about small engine repair and then some. He has a very very good work ethic. Very fair prices and he's very honest and it gets done as fast as the parts could be shipped in depending on what you're getting done. This is the number one place to go"
