Crosby's - Hinsdale

"Ordered pizza on line. My sons birthday. Requested crosbys pizza. Forgot the pepperoni, didn't cut it as requested and had to cook it more Ordered a Supreme and a cheese and pepperoni.Also was not cooked enough."

"Normally I would give this place a four or five star review, however this has been the second time the manager has flat out lied about wait times. I called them, ordered two pizzas and they gave me a twenty minute to a half hour wait time. Now I know they're busy on Fridays, so I have them forty five minutes so they wouldn't have to rush around. I get there, and my pizzas were not even started. The gentleman said to me it would be fifteen minutes per pizza still. Absolutely had it! If it's going to be an hour wait, tell me right up front. Terrible service there in the last few months. The manager is also rude, and gruff with customers. That location has went down hill badly! It's a shame since it's it's the first location. It seems as though the man who took my order forgot about it entirely. I will not be placing a food order here even again."

"Justin is one of the hardest working people this store has ever seen. I've lived here for a while, and I've seen a lot of people come and go and he is always in there working his but off. He made me a delicious sub tonight and I appreciate it .Keep up the good work bud"

"It's been so hit or miss lately. Sometimes it's great customer service and experience, and others it's just plain horrible. The employees forgot my order placed via phone that was quoted for 20-25 minutes, ended having to wait an additional 15-20 minutes because they "were busy." When I was there it was customers wanting a cash out with one register open and no more than 2 people in line at varying intervals when I was inside. The gentleman that took my order via phone didn't ask for any of my information (name or phone number) when I placed the order, nor did he seem to remember taking a phone order at all. The other employee was just pacing back and forth behind the counter doing some cleaning/re-arranging, which is good but if you were busy then why ignore the 2nd register. Also, in the rush to make my order my pizza is more on the undercooked side and barely any sauce on it."

"Crosby s in Hinsdale always had ice cream cones, only place close to our house. Took my granddaughters who are visiting from out of state and they were so excited for a cone. When we got there we were told they no longer do ice cream unless you get a bar out of freezer case. We were very disappointed and were tired from full day of swimming , so did not want to drive another 15 minutes. The girls settled for an ice cream sandwich. We went to sit in one of couple tables they had inside, first table had red sauce spilled all over on floor. This Crosby has gone down hill and the staff that was working on Friday July 14 around 6:30-7pm could use a lot of customer service training."
